Is there any way to reduce the flame cutting damage to the workbench?

There is a small four-sided cone made of cast iron. These four cones can be made in different sizes and have grooves at the bottom of each of the four cones. These grooves match the width of the cutting plane supported by the steel bar, so the small four-sided cone can be assembled with the steel bar to form the workpiece, as shown in Figure 1-22. The small four-sided cone is mainly used for the following occasions:
① to prevent cutting the flame damage to the cutting platform support rod;
② eliminate when the cutting flame through the cutting platform to support the rod when the cutting nozzle due to pollution or improper operation caused by the tempering;
③ reduce the slag, because it is conducive to cutting from the workpiece was blown away
④ to provide a solid and horizontal support for the workpiece;
⑤ support from the workpiece so that it does not sink in the cutting process.
